Join us for an unforgettable evening of opera, as FOCUS partners with the Royal College of Music to present Love, Conflict, Renaissance — a bold and emotionally rich production led by the iconic Sir Thomas Allen.

This imaginative performance brings together the sensual and moving music of Monteverdi and Strozzi with the modern power of Jonathan Dove’s Seven Angels. The evening explores timeless themes of love, loss, and transformation through a blend of Renaissance beauty and contemporary edge.

Featuring:
• RCM singers and musicians
• Dancers from the Rambert School
• Direction by Sir Thomas Allen
• Lighting by Kevin Treacy
• Choreography by Anna Smith & Harry Wilson

This unique production is also inspired by Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Ludwig Tieck, and Roby Rec Del Horno — creating a layered, sensory opera experience unlike any other.
